Lindsay Lumsden:Taking Her Game to the International Stage

Lindsay Lumsden made an immediate impression when she arrived at Campbell University in 2024.

The Loganville, Georgia, native appeared in 54 games and started 51 during her freshman season. She led the Camels in doubles with 13, home runs with four and total bases with 76 while hitting .320 with 47 hits. Her performance earned her CAA Rookie of the Year honors, All-CAA First Team recognition and a spot on the All-CAA Rookie Team. She was also named CAA Rookie of the Week twice.

After one season at Campbell, Lumsden transferred to the University of North Carolina, joining the Tar Heels as an infielder. The move brought her to one of the country's most competitive collegiate softball programs and opened the next chapter of her career in Chapel Hill.

Her development has continued beyond the college game. In 2026, Lumsden was named to Guatemala's women's softball roster for the Central American and Caribbean Games, giving her the opportunity to compete internationally and represent Guatemala on a regional stage.

That connection adds a meaningful dimension to her athletic journey as Lumsden's career now stretches across three levels of the game: her early collegiate breakthrough at Campbell, her continued development at UNC, and international competition with Guatemala. Each stage has brought a new opportunity to test her game.
