NFL Kickoff Sparks the Ultimate QB1 Debate: Which WNBA Star Takes the Top Spot?
By Drafted Team
With football season underway, a playful crossover question is making the rounds: if WNBA stars were NFL quarterbacks, who would be your first pick? Teams including the Spurs, Fever, Wings, and Minnesota Lynx are part of the conversation.
Football season has a way of pulling everyone into the draft conversation — even fans whose hearts belong to the hardwood. As the NFL kicks off, a fun question is circulating that bridges two worlds: who would you draft as your QB1, drawing from the rosters of the San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Fever, Dallas Wings, and Minnesota Lynx?
The prompt is simple but sparks genuine debate among fans, inviting them to think about leadership, clutch performance, and star power — the same qualities that define a franchise quarterback — through a women's basketball lens.
It's a lighthearted but telling exercise, one that puts the spotlight squarely on the caliber of talent thriving in women's basketball right now. The fact that multiple teams are in the mix only makes the debate harder — and more fun.
