Nicolette Rojo:Helping Shape the Way a New Generation Experiences Sports
By Drafted Team
From the basketball court to behind the screens at FOX Sports, Latina producer Nicolette Rojo has built a career at the intersection of sports, storytelling, and digital culture, helping turn the moments everyone is talking about into stories made to be shared.
For Nicolette Rojo, sports have never been something to simply watch. Before she was producing content around some of the biggest conversations in sports, she was an athlete herself. A former Division III basketball player, Rojo learned the game from inside it, carrying the curiosity of a student-athlete into a career that would eventually stretch far beyond basketball.
Writing became one of her first ways in. She covered the NBA, WNBA, and college basketball before expanding into social media, video, audio, marketing, and production. Each new role gave her another way to understand how a sports story travels from the action itself to the fans experiencing it at home. That path eventually led to FOX Sports.
Today, Rojo works across digital content and production, with credits spanning The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Undisputed, FOX Soccer, and What's Wright? with Nick Wright. Her work lives in the fast-moving space where sports television meets digital culture, helping big moments find an audience far beyond the original broadcast.
And she's doing it while bringing her own perspective to an industry she once knew from the other side of the game.
Behind the Moment
During the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, Rojo was part of the FOX Sports Digital team powering the social integration behind its live coverage. Working across time zones and alongside teams on the ground in Australia, she helped connect what was happening on one of women's sports' biggest stages with the fans following along digitally.
The Work
Rojo knows how quickly sports move, and her work moves with them. Her background spans writing, producing, editing, social strategy, and digital storytelling across everything from the NFL and NBA to women's basketball, international soccer, and Formula 1.
That range has made versatility part of her creative language. She can understand the game, recognize the conversation around it, and help shape content that feels at home where today's fans are actually watching.

And as the way fans experience sports continues to change, producers like Rojo are becoming an increasingly important part of what makes a moment a moment. They understand that the story doesn't stop when the broadcast ends. It gets clipped, shared, debated, remixed, and carried into culture.
